Welcome to the Fitzroy Lions Soccer Club!

Whether you are a returning player or joining us for the first time, we are thrilled to have you as part of our team for the 2025 season. Last year, we proudly fielded 16 competitive teams and this year, the demand for spots is higher than ever. We are gearing up for another exciting season filled with growth, teamwork and unforgettable moments on and off the field.

Our Commitment to football accessibility

At FLSC, we believe that soccer is for everyone, regardless of background, ability or financial circumstances. As the only registered soccer club in Australia that provides subsidised uniforms, transport and registration, we aim to remove financial barriers so that every child has access to the game.

While we are committed to supporting players who may be struggling to pay, we ask families who are able to contribute a minimum fee of $350, which is half the cost of local club fees. Your support helps us continue assisting those in need and ensures that no player is left behind.

What you can expect this Season

Throughout the season, you will be supported by our amazing team of volunteers who are dedicated to improving your soccer skills and life skills. You will:

✅ Compete in the league, proudly representing the club with professionalism and good sportsmanship.
✅ Take part in team bonding activities, events and community initiatives.
✅ Have access to mentorship and pathways for progression, including our Young Leaders Program.
✅ Be part of a safe, welcoming and inclusive club where players, coaches and volunteers work together to support one another.

Our Expectations

We expect every player to bring their best attitude, commitment and sportsmanship to every training session and match. Wearing the club jersey is more than just playing soccer, it represents resilience, opportunity and unity within our community.
